Travis Hiner

Travis Hiner has been a resident of the Scottsbluff-Gering communities his entire life. He received a B.A. Degree as well as an MBA in business administration from the University of Nebraska and was a member of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity. From 1968 to 1985, Hiner served as president/chairman of the board for Hiner Implement Company, Scottsbluff (sold companies in 1985); Hiner Implement, Inc., Torrington, WY.; and president/chairman of the board for Hiner Lease Company from 1976 to the present. He has served as a board member of the Kosman Banking Family since 1990 (now Platte Valley Companies).

Community involvements include: board member and President of Oregon Trail Community Foundation; board member of Western Nebraska Community College Foundation; president and board member of the Travis and Kathy Hiner Foundation; Chairman of the Board for the Heartland Express Association (highway promotion); board member of Scottsbluff Country Club; board member and finance chairman for Regional West Health Services for 25 years (retired in 2009); and former board member of the Nebraska Diplomats. In 2010, he received the Trailblazer Award from the Scottsbluff/Gering United Chamber of Commerce.
