Platte Institute Releases Latest Study: The Potential Consequences of Proposed Climate Change Regulation

The Platte Institute for Economic Research and Brad Luebben, UNL Department of Agricultural Economics and Eric Thompson, Director, UNL Bureau of Business Research today released the study: "The Nebraska Economy: The Potential Consequences of Proposed Climate Change Regulation."

 

This study takes an in-depth look at how Nebraska's overall economy would be impacted if proposed legislation takes place. The findings of in this study show a likely decrease in corn production in Nebraska as well as an overall loss of jobs and an increase in food prices.
