Nicole Fox was born and raised in Iowa, and graduated from Iowa State University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Sciences in Food and Nutrition - Dietetics.
She served as both the President and Public Policy Coordinator for the Nebraska Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics state affiliate, served nationally on the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Legislative and Public Policy Committee, and as the Oncology Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group Policy and Advocacy Liaison. Through these public policy experiences, Nicole became interested in public service and sought the governor's appointment to represent Legislative District 7 in the Nebraska Legislature, which encompasses Downtown Omaha and South Omaha.
Nicole lives in Downtown Omaha and loves to support its many locally-owned businesses. She serves on the board of Victory Boxing Club and has run and completed two of the World Marathon Majors in Berlin and New York City. Nicole is also an avid Iowa State Cyclone basketball fan and has two cats, Jules and Onyx.
