Join the Platte Institute for a Night at the Movies

The Platte Institute would like to invite you to a night at the movies, and for a limited time, the tickets are on us. Register now!

We’re pleased to present a one-night-only screening of the new movie Little Pink House, based on the true story of Susette Kelo, a small-town homeowner whose fight against eminent domain abuse went all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.

The film stars Academy Award nominee Catherine Kenner as Kelo. Check out the trailer here:

The screening will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, at the AMC Westroads in Omaha (10000 California Street, Omaha, NE 68114).  Click here for a flyer.

Lee McGrath, a special guest from the Institute for Justice, which represented Susette Kelo at the Supreme Court, will join us after the movie for a Q&A session and discussion about how property rights issues impact Nebraskans.

These tickets normally cost $13 each, but we’re making them available for free, while supplies last, to our members and friends.
